Richard Strauss Salome
The Festival production of Richard Strauss's Salome is the story of the loneliness and fate of the main character, a teenage girl raised by her morally questionable mother and her concubine, King Herod. The story is set in the reality of the age-old religious and social conflict of the Middle East.
